Staff Accountant

Position Overview:

DocuPhase, located in Clearwater, FL is actively seeking a talented Staff Accountant. The ideal applicant will have 3-5 years of experience within a fast paced, rapidly growing company.

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for the day-to-day Accounts Payable, Cash Management and Payroll functions for DocuPhase. This position reports to the Accounting Manager and the ideal candidate will be located in the Company’s Clearwater, FL Headquarters. 

This is a Hybrid position requiring several days in the office.


As a Staff Accountant, you will...

  • Maintain precise records of all vendor invoices and payments
  • Responsible for paying and keeping record of all invoices
  • Keep track of company credit card spending, make payment and record transactions in Netsuite
  • Record employee expense reimbursements
  • Record cash of all incoming payments and make bank deposits
  • Process semi-monthly payroll
  • Onboarding and offboarding activities
  • Assists employees with payroll questions and resolve payroll issues in a timely manner
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and expense analysis of P&L accounts
  • Assist with month end close activities and year end audit

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3+ years of accounting experience
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all level of an organization
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience working with NetSuite
