As a QA Engineer, You Will…

  • Handle test planning and document, coordinate, and execute activities related to the testing of systems and user interfaces
  • Write and execute manual test cases and write test plans
  • Document software defects using TFS, monitor bug resolution efforts, and track successes
  • Perform manual functional, integration, regression, and performance testing to meet business requirements and the strategic mission and goals of the organization
  • Be involved throughout the deployment lifecycle for the DocuPhase ECM and Workflow software suites, with a focus on the quality assurance phase
  • Independently manage work tasks while supporting the planning, organization, and coordination of technical tasks and work assignments
  • Handle escalations from the Professional Services and Technical Support departments
  • Work closely with development and product management teams
  • Effectively troubleshoot, quickly adapt to new technologies, and think critically and creatively to solve problems

 We’d love you to have experience in…

 Testing web-based, Windows-based, and/or IIS-based applications (1-2 years)

  • Software testing or software quality assurance (1-2 years)
  • QA techniques for smoke, regression, functional, user acceptance, and exploratory testing (1-2 years)
  • Microsoft Server, Windows 7/Windows 10, and Microsoft Virtualization technologies
  • SQL Server and SQL queries
  • TFS or other bug tracking/code management tools

Bonus Points for…

Hands-on experience working with any GUI/web automation testing tool (i.e.: Selenium, Coded UI, SpecFlow, MS Test, etc.)

  • Hands-on experience with C#
  • Experience integrating test suites into TFS

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or 4 years of related work experience is required.
