What You Will Do
The Project Manager is primarily responsible for researching, analyzing, defining, documenting, and testing detailed business requirements and managing all project phases, key resources, and communication within DocuPhase product implementations. This role provides implementation support for key business application goals. Daily activities include: identifying and driving end-user requirements, facilitating communication within the internal teams, working closely with clients to define application AP and/or Document Management functionality, automation, data, workflow, and integration requirements.
This position requires strong process and consultative customer focus and ability to implement multiple projects simultaneously.
Leadership: Leads project delivery resources/team (typically smaller team) providing project guidance and direction to achieve project goals. Manages all facets of project management (schedule, quality & risk) for individual projects including planning, design, testing, closeout and turnover. Facilitate the testing process, including unit testing, quality assurance, and user acceptance.
Research and Analysis: Analyze business processes/requirements and develop corresponding process and data flows. Perform gap analysis activities to identify and document any possible requirement gaps.
Problem Solving: Provide creative solutions to ambiguous business problems.
SME: Demonstrate subject matter expertise for each assigned project including, but not limited to, project life cycle components, methodologies, stakeholder engagement strategies, risk & issue management, processes for collecting, documenting, & signing off on requirements.
Communication: Creates clear, concise, and completed functional specifications and required documents detailing functional and systems requirements. Stays in consistent contact with internal teams and clients throughout the implementation.
Documentation: Develops and documents workflow, systems requirements, system impact analysis, systems design, process analysis and testing (including reasonableness checks) using software development methodology to provide efficient, cost-effective solutions as directed.
Execution: Assist with testing strategies, conditions and evaluation of expected results. Participates in design plans for implementation, supports user documentation and training materials. Work with delivery teams for design and development, QA, UAT, production readiness and turnover to production/ operational support. Implements the communication plan for meetings and written reports/meeting minutes to keep client and project resources informed.
Governance: Implements change requests, make recommendations, secure Client approvals, and issue change orders. Assesses change requests to determine impacts to scope, schedule, quality and risk with management support. Ensures project documentation governance is aligned with company and client requirements. Confirms project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely and coordinated. Implements standard risk management routines with management support, to identify project risks, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
4-8 years as a project manager or similar experience.
2+ years of software or technical project management.
Strong and functional knowledge and understanding of the software development process, including requirement gathering, analysis/design, development tools/technologies, release/version control, contemporary testing methodologies, and deployment management.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills with astute attention to detail.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and Ability to communicate at various levels of the organization (within the team/portfolio as well as with senior leadership), to a wide variety of audiences, both business and technical.
Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
Must be able to work effectively with people at all levels, solve personal conflicts, understand and diagnose the causes of change resistance and lead without authority.
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills at all levels.

Prior BPA and/ or Financial Services related experience is preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) from College or University and/or equivalent related experience.
Other Skills and Abilities
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite. Direct experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) is preferred. Direct experience with Project Management and Portfolio tools is preferred.
