DocuPhase is looking for a Content Marketing Manager who will be responsible for the development and execution of the content marketing strategy that strategically aligns with DocuPhase’s business and marketing goals, in addition to managing the editorial calendar, keyword research, search engine optimization, and the creation of B2B marketing content. 

This position reports to the Demand Generation Manager.

The ideal candidate will be a writer at heart with the ability to write sophisticated, high quality content that engages our buyer personas and generates leads.

As a Content Marketing Manager, you will...

  • Conduct in-depth content strategy, including buyer persona research and creation, competitive analysis, SEO and keyword research, and market research
  • Collaborate with marketing and design teams to plan and develop site content, style and layout
  • Develop copy for websites, blogs, press releases, email newsletters, social media, advertisements, brochures, corporate communications, and any project that requires copy development.
  • Optimize content according to SEO and Google Analytics
  • Use content management systems to analyze website traffic and users engagement metrics
  • Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic
  • Stay up-to-date with developments and generate new ideas to draw audience’s attention
  • Work with designers, product marketing, sales, and external influencers and other industry experts 

Required Skills/Competencies

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience
  • 3+ years of experience in producing content for the web specifically, as well as channel-specific knowledge (blog, SlideShare, Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
  • Exceptional business writing and editing skills
  • Strong grasp of grammar and style; can visualize as well as convey a message into relevant and interesting content.
  • Creative writing skills desired
  • Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people
  • Strong problem-solver; ability to navigate various viewpoints to develop consensus
  • An optimistic, welcoming, and accommodating outlook; the ability to emotionally tune-in with others and remain calm and autonomous in a deadline-based environment
  • Working knowledge with SEO and keyword research methods
  • Working knowledge with Google Analytics and reporting
  • Proficient in working in HubSpot
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite tools (Photoshop and InDesign, specifically)

Nice to Have

  • Experience writing on the subject of accounting
  • Experience writing for SaaS companies
